Trendy Essentials-March Haul

It’s been so busy lately, planning for a wedding and working that thing called a day job…

But, recently I went on a bit of a shopping haul, and I wanted to share with ya’ll some of my best finds! These are my top finds in affordable fashion, beauty and hair care that I simply cannot live without this season!

First, this blush trend is still killin’ it. If you’re like me and have way too many pairs of shoes, then these blush tone pumps are perfect for you! Why? Because they’re UNDER $30, so when blush goes out of style (which I sincerely hope never happens) you won’t feel guilty about pushing them to the back of your closet.

This just segways beautifully into my spring reads now, doesn’t it?

Of course, I love a good novel… (Currently reading “The Light Between Oceans”… I know I’m late to the party). But I also love material that I can skim through at my leisure that doesn’t require all too much brain power.

Currently, Capture Your Style by Aimee Song. If you are a self-proclaimed insta-blogger like myself, then you’ve probably heard of Aimee and her book. She runs a wildly successful blog and instagram and has shared her amazing secrets with us. I originally snatched this up for my coffee table, because it’s just so pretty. But, I ended up learning  A LOT and really enjoying the content.

The Curated Closet by Anuschka Rees is another great read. Throughout my teens and early(er) twenties I would buy whatever I liked, especially if it was on sale. Now I know better than to purchase a bunch of “cute” stuff on sale that will sit in my closet with the tags on for years until I decide to give it away. This book helps you find your own personal style so you can curate a closet full of (less items) but items that you will love and wear daily.

&& Of course I can’t forget about my tried and true Joanna Gaines. It goes without saying how inspirational this woman is. She really has her priorities straight and brings us all back to reality when we put the wrong things first. Anyways… her quarterly journal is nothing short of inspirational… from pie recipes during the holidays to how to sculpt the perfect flower display in the Spring. If you’re not already subscribed to this journal, you should be!Randco

This season, I was on the hunt for some new haircare products and I found some styling products I really like.

R and Co haircare is a line I’ve just discovered and I am completely obsessed! All of their products are free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, and petrolatum, and completely cruelty free!

I am totally hooked on the Trophy Shine + Texture Spray for when I do a tousled wave look. I layer it with the Sail Soft Wave Spray and voila!

Next on the list was some new lip color! I have a feeling these gorgeous colors are going to be an all-year-round lip color for me!

This MAC lip pencil in Plum goes with a few shades of mine so it’s perfect and versatile! And this Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolor in “Topped With Brandy” is so amazing because it dries like a matte lipstick!

Do you remember being a little kid in the 90s and everyone who was anyone had GAP displayed across their sweatshirts?

Well this t-shirt brought me right back… and it is so fitting for adult life. So I had to grab it! This is my comfy look which I may or may not be rocking as I type this…

&&The Saturday Pant from JCrew  are perfectly light weight for the warmer weather. And this bralette from Urban Outfitters is so comfortable yet has great support!

Lastly, this gorgeous Spring top from ASOS was such a great find! I have worn it more times than I’d like to admit since I got it just last week!

What amazing Spring trends have you found this week?!
